HOW TO GET PUBLISHED DAY
SUNDAY JUNE 9. KENNAWAY HOUSE, SIDMOUTH.
Have you always dreamed of being published? This is your chance to have one to one advice from leading figures in the industry!
As part of the Sidmouth Literary Festival (forty minutes from Exeter), we are holding a HOW TO GET PUBLISHED DAY on Sunday June 9. Experts include Katy Loftus, editorial director at Penguin Viking; Martha Ashby, editor of commercial women’s fiction at Harper Collins; and Jennifer Kerslake, editor at Orion Publishing. The event will be led by Jane Corry, a Sunday Times best-selling Penguin author and writer in residence of the festival.
There will be talks throughout the day about different aspects ranging from how to attract an agent’s eye to how to self-publish. There is also the opportunity to send in a sample of your work before the festival and receive individual verbal feedback on the day.
Last year, three delegates had short stories accepted by a well-known weekly women’s magazine as a result of attending the conference.
Tickets cost £25 each. To purchase, click https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/how-to-get-published-workshop-tickets-55570507885?ref=estw.
