A talk from renowned author Tim Pears will take place in the PM of Sunday 9th June following the How To Get Published Event.
The Sidmouth Literary Festival in partnership with Winstone’s Independent Bookshop are pleased to announce the festival’s finale event: a discussion with Tim Pears!
Having grown up in Devon, Tim Pears is more than familiar with the land we love to call home. His West Country Trilogy chronicles love, exile, and belonging in a world on the brink of change, and it now concludes with The Redeemed. As his most ambitious novels to date, The West Country Trilogy takes place before, during, and after the First World War.
It’ll be a wonderful opportunity to hear Tim Pears talk about the inspiration for this trilogy, his writing process of a longer narrative across three books, and of course the role of landscape and local history in his work.
Join us at Kennaway House in the Cellar Bar for this fascinating talk in the PM of Sunday 9th June.
Tickets can be purchased at Winstone’s Independent Bookshop at number 10 High Street, Sidmouth, or bought online at Eventbrite by clicking here.
Please remember to bring your ticket along to the event, and we shall see you there!
